Man Found With $35K In Drugs After Crash: Wallingford Police
Police seized cocaine, marijuana and Psilocybin mushrooms after a car accident Wednesday in Wallingford, according to officials.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A car accident led to the discovery of $35,000 worth of drugs and the arrest of a Fairfield man Thursday afternoon in Wallingford, according to police.
Keaon Major, a passenger in one of the vehicles, was found to be in the possession of nearly 10 ounces of cocaine, 3.64 pounds of marijuana and 17 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms, according to Lt. Anthony DeMaio.
Major, 42, was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of controlled substance and possession of a hallucinogenic substance.

Police responded to the area of 930 North Colony Rd. (Route 5) near the Stop & Shop plaza around 1:45 p.m. on the report of a crash. During the investigation, and while talking with one of the drivers, the officer smelled an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle, according to DeMaio.
Major was the front-seat passenger in the vehicle, a 2016 Mazda CX-5.

Police found the following drugs in the vehicle, or on Major, according to DeMaio:
- Approximately 1 pound marijuana in a black vacuum sealed bag labeled “Fatso OG”
- Approximately 1 pound marijuana in a black vacuum sealed bag labeled “Sour”
- Approximately 135 grams of marijuana in a zip lock sandwich bag
- Approximately 121 grams of marijuana in a vacuum sealed bag labeled “Jungle Cake”
- Approximately 122 grams of marijuana in a vacuum sealed bag labeled “Peanut Butter”
- Approximately 124 grams of marijuana in a vacuum sealed bag labeled “Jungle Cake”
- Approximately 122 grams of marijuana in a vacuum sealed bag labeled “Peanut Butter”
- Approximately 124 grams of marijuana in a vacuum sealed bag labeled “Sour Diesel”
- 33 empty zip lock bags for packaging marijuana labeled “Peanut Butter Breath”
- Stoney Gummies THC edibles
- Zip lock baggies containing clear and pink vials containing cocaine (approximately 82.6 grams total, .7 grams each)
- Zip lock bag containing three individual bags of Psilocybin mushrooms (approximately 17 grams total)
- Plastic bag containing four individual bags of cocaine (119 grams total, approximately one ounce each)
- Vacuum sealed bag containing approximately 35 grams cocaine
- Four individual bags of cocaine (approximately 40 grams total, approximately 10 grams each)
Police also seized $90 in cash, four Apple iPhones, and two backpacks.
Major was released after posting a $5,000 cash bond and is due in court on April 22.
