New Baseball Coach Hired At Sheehan-Wallingford
The Board of Education officially appointed the new coach on Monday night.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Officials didn’t have to look far to find a replacement for longtime Sheehan baseball coach Matt Altieri, who recently retired after leading the Titans to four state titles in his 25 years as head coach. Assistant coach Dom Lombardozzi was officially appointed as Sheehan’s new head baseball coach at Monday night’s Board of Education meeting.
Lombardozzi worked with Altieri for 11 years as an assistant coach and was a former player for the Titans, according to school officials.
