The brewery will celebrate its grand-opening event this weekend, featuring 8 beers on tap along with pretzels, pizza and stuffed breads.

WALLINGFORD, CT — After a winter that seemingly just doesn’t want to go away, temperatures are expected to reach the mid-60s on Saturday and the Center Street Brewing Company will help celebrate the long-awaited spring weather with its official opening this weekend. Center Street Brewing Company, located at 25 Wallace Ave., will hold its grand-opening event from 12 noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday (March 30) and 12 noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, the Meriden Record-Journal reports.

The grand-opening event will feature eight beers on tap, along with pretzels from Alyssa’s Cakery and pizza and stuffed breads from Laudano’s Apizza, according to the event listing on Facebook. Peter Ford, co-owner and head brewer, told the Record-Journal that they hope to continue to team up with local restaurants and eventually collaborate on events with other local breweries.

According to its website, at Center Street Brewing Co., “we have a passion for brewing delicious, well-balanced beers that everyone can enjoy - whether you are a craft beer aficionado or someone looking to try something new.”
