New Hockey Coach Hired At Lyman Hall-Wallingford
The co-op team won the Division III state championship this past season.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Dave Sagnella has been named the new head coach of the Lyman Hall hockey team, the school announced this week. Sagnella replaces Rich Minnix, who stepped down soon after guiding the co-op team, along with Coginchaug and Haddam-Killingworth, to the CIAC Division III state championship.
The Meriden Record-Journal reports the Board of Education hired Sagnella, 31, of Branford, at this week’s meeting. Sagnella was Minnix’s assistant for the past two years and previously was an assistant for Daniel Hand-Madison when the team won a state championship in the 2013-14 season, according to the Record-Journal.
