Obituary: Janet A. (Stefanowicz) Doerner, 67, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — Janet A. (Stefanowicz) Doerner, 67, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, Thursday, April 1, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Janet was born in Meriden, April 27, 1953, a daughter of the late John F. Stefanowicz and Rose (Trapio) Stefanowicz. She had been a Wallingford resident for many years and was employed as a paralegal.

She is survived by her son Mark W. Doerner and his wife Lindsey of Wallingford; her daughter Sara Boykin of Florida; her three cherished grandchildren Dante and Grace Doerner, and Indiana Boykin; her sister Linda M. Blakeslee and her husband Keith of Middletown.

Her family will receive relatives and friends in the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, Wednesday, April 7, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
