Obituary: Margaret S. Taylor, 66, of Wallingford
Meg, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and animal lover, enjoyed the beach and was adored immensely by her family and friends.
WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Margaret S. Taylor, 66, of Wallingford, loving wife of Perry Taylor for 37 years, passed away June 13, 2021 at MidState Medical Center.
She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 6, 1954, a daughter of the late Eric and Frances (Reynolds) Slayton.
Meg loved spending time with her grandchildren and relaxing on the beach.
She adored animals and raised a Championship Portuguese Water Dog.
Meg spent many happy years raising and homeschooling children, and working side by side with Perry in their Tayco family business.
She was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her husband, Perry, she is survived by her daughters, Megan Heidenis of Wolcott and Sara Taylor of Bunnell, Florida; her sons, Adam Taylor and his wife, Kate, of Wallingford and Drew Taylor of Wallingford; her brother, Eric Slayton III of Wallingford; and her grandchildren, Anthony, Alex, Aaron, Ashton, Gabe, Jude, Mason and Grace.
Her family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 4pm until 7pm.
Her funeral service will be held at 6:30 pm during calling hours. Masks will be required. Interment will be private.
