Bids are open through May 30th at Midnight, but be aware, one item - Bushnell Tickets for "Dirty Dancing" - is for May 28th 2:00 pm show date/time. So for this one item, the Auction End Date is May 24th at Midnight with the winner to be announced May 25th!

Parent Speaker Series
Information YOU need to know!Join us on Monday June 6 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the ASRC office in Wallingford, for a presentation by Michael Gilberg about special educatoin and developing social emotional functioning skills. Michael's unique perspective as an experienced SPED attorney, as well as a person on the autism spectrum, will provide tremendous insight into this topic. This is a free presentaiton, but registration is required.

Special Presentation About Siblings
"I Hear a Red Crayon" - A Converstaion with the Author Bonnie Feuer
Taken from the author's own experience growing up with a sbiling on the autism spectrum, the presentation and discussion with Bonnie Feuer will explore all of the "challenges and glories" of life and family dynamics with a brother or sister with an autism spectrum disorder. Books will be available for sale at the event; Saturday, June 25, at the Wallingford Public Library, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. This is a free presentation, but registration is required.
Spring Boot Camp "Transition: OMG! "Popular Training Program Comes to South Windsor Boot Camp "Transition OMG!" provides an intensive, four session overview to guide those helping ASD students to make that leap from teen to adult! Schedule-friendly, non-consecutive Saturday morning sessions begin May 14th. Registration is required for this free training; thanks to a grant from SBM Charitable Foundation and sponsored by SWAN Parenting Programs at South Windsor Youth and Family Services.

Yes it was wet and cold, but those of you who braved the weather to be with us for 2016 Walk for Autism, created the excitement and spirit that was felt by all in attendance! Everyone from Artists to Zumba instructors helped to celebrate in the festive atmosphere, in spite of the rain! And check out the pre-event Zumba video here! CT Autism Awareness License PlateHelp us Spread Awareness across the State!
Thanks to our volunteer who is shepherding the process with the DMV to get autism awareness license plates for Connecticut vehicles! Right now all we need to do is provide proof of interest in the community. Contact us with your name, phone, email and address, so we can move forward with this project! Watch for the license plate design coming soon to our website!

Traditional support-style groups meet monthly at our Wallingford office. Men’s, Women’s groups for ages mid-20’s to mid-30’s, and a Mixed Adults Group, 35 years and up (includes marrieds!). Contact us for more information and placement!
