Pancheros Hosting $1 Burrito Event In Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — Pancheros Mexican Grill is hosting a $1 burrito event at its Wallingford location, 893 North Colony Rd., next week as a way to thank the community for its support over the past several years, officials announced. Burritos will be sold for $1 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28.

“We’ve called Wallingford ‘home’ since we opened in 2017, and our restaurant continues to thrive today because of the loyalty of our local customers,” said Robert Mesite, owner of Pancheros in Wallingford. “We hope that customers are able to stop by and enjoy the opportunity to treat themselves to a perfectly-mixed burrito for just a dollar.”

Over the years, Pancheros has earned a loyal following for “redefining the standards of a burrito,” according to a press release. “Pancheros has fresh-pressed tortillas and uses a unique spatula to tear down the walls that once stood between the meat, rice, beans and salsas, yielding burritos that are better built. In addition to burritos, the fast-casual restaurant serves burrito bowls, tacos, quesadillas and salads. It has also earned popularity for its chips and queso and unique limited time offerings.”
