Popular Restaurant Closes In Downtown Wallingford
The restaurant recently closed and plans are already in place for a new eatery to open in the space.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Popular downtown restaurant Jake’s recently closed in Wallingford and will soon be replaced by another eatery, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports J. Carvers, described as a steak and chops restaurant, will be opening in the space at 179 Center St.
Jake’s was well-known for its signature martini and drink list along with live band performances.
