Railroad Crossing Closure Announced In Wallingford
Police are advising motorists of a road closure that will be in effect while repairs are made to a railroad crossing in Wallingford.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Police are advising residents of a short-term railroad crossing closure that will take place next week on Williams Road.
Williams Road will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic between the intersection of Liney Hall Lane and the intersection of Pagano Lane, beginning around 7 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 9 and extending through the day on Monday, Oct. 12.
“This closure is needed to allow the Providence and Worchester Railroad Company, in concert with the Connecticut Department of Transportation, to make needed repairs to the railroad crossing and roadway at that location,” Lt. Anthony DeMaio wrote in a news release. “Appropriate signage will be in place to direct motorists around the closure.”
