Site Identified For New Police Department In Wallingford
The town is looking to buy a building and property for a potential new police headquarters in Wallingford.
WALLINGFORD, CT — The former 3M building on Barnes Road has been identified as the site for a potential new Wallingford police headquarters, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports the town negotiated a purchase price of $1.76 million for the property at 100 Barnes Road.
A public hearing is scheduled to take place during Tuesday’s Town Council meeting on appropriating $3.3 million in bonds, including funds for a design study and other costs, for the purchase, according to the Record-Journal.
