Assassins

January 16-20, 2019

A panoramic story of our nation's culture of celebrity and the violent means some will use to obtain it, embodied by America's four successful and five would-be presidential assassins. Nathan Clift (John Hinckley Jr) is a senior BFA Musical Theatre major at Western Connecticut State University. His previous SFT credits include: The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Quasimodo), Rock of Ages (Drew), West Side Story (Baby John), and Spring Awakening (Georg). Other credits include: 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (William Barfée), Company (Paul), The Drowsy Chaperone (George), West Side Story (Action), and bare: A Pop Opera (Matt).

This long running Off Broadway absurdist comedy places Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian cafe in 1904, just before the renowned scientist transformed physics with his theory of relativity and the celebrated painter set the art world afire with cubism.
