Venue Changed For Sheehan Football Playoff Game

A recent stretch of bad weather has rendered the field at Ansonia High School unplayable.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Due to unplayable field conditions caused by a recent stretch of bad weather, two Monday semifinal matchups in the state football playoffs have been moved to alternate locations.

A Class S semifinal between Sheehan and Ansonia has been relocated to Derby High School, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Class M contest between Weston and Rockville is now taking place at Simsbury High School, also at 6:30 p.m.
