Wallingford Cut-a-Thon to Help Hunter Pageau

Funds are being raised for Hunter's trip to Italy so he can participate in clinical trials for a cure for the extremely rare SMARD disease.

Charlene Elizabeth Salon in Wallingford will host a cut-a-thon to raise donations for North Haven’s Hunter Pageau on Sunday, June 7.

Hunter, 9, is battling the extremely rare disease SMARD (Spinal Muscular Atrophy with Respiratory Distress) and groundbreaking research that formally opens the door for a cure has recently been released by Italian researchers/doctors.

Funds are being raised to for Hunter’s trip to Italy so he can participate in clinical trials for a cure.

The cut-a-thon will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday at 48 North Plains Industrial Road in Wallingford.
