Wallingford Official Changes Party Registration: Report

John Sullivan, Councilor, has officially changed his registration status from Democrat to unaffiliated, according to a report by the Record Journal.

Sullivan was newly re-elected to Wallingford’s town council for the 2016-18 term, according to the Record Journal.

But Sullivan said he hoped the Democratic Town Committee led by Jeffrey Knickerbocker would improve things but that didn’t happen, the Record Journal reports.

But Knickerbocker said the committee is focused on keeping members who will hold the town accountable and Sullivan wasn’t willing to do that, the paper reports.
