Wallingford Police Blotter: Jan. 25 Through Jan. 31, 2021

WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Eldwrin L. Bittle, 51, of Exchange Street, New Haven, was arrested Jan. 25 on two counts of second-degree forgery and one count each of insurance fraud, criminal attempt to commit insurance fraud, possession of narcotics, criminal attempt / possession of narcotics, illegal issue false prescription and criminal attempt / illegal false prescription. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of Feb. 25, according to state judicial records.

Donna Wellen, 52, of Bronx, New York, was arrested Jan. 26 on charges of third-degree larceny, third-degree identity theft, criminal impersonation and third-degree forgery. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of April 5.

Tasha L. Rivera, 36, of New Hanover Avenue, Meriden, was arrested Jan. 26 on a charge of violation of probation. She was released after posting a $4,000 bond with a court date of April 8.

Christopher G. Gagnon, 52, of Elm Street, Winsted, was arrested Jan. 27 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to drive in proper lane. He was released after posting a $2,000 bond with a court date of April 21.

Christopher Pace, 57, of Wilcox Avenue, Meriden, was arrested Jan. 28 on charges if second-degree forgery, insurance fraud, obtaining controlled drug – forged prescription and possession of controlled substance or less than ½ ounce of cannabis. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of Feb. 25.

Arden Lyn Poirier, 48, of Geneva Avenue, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 29 on charges of third-degree assault, second-degree threatening, disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief. She was additionally charged with second-degree violating condition of release. She was released on a promise to appear in court on April 1.

Devin J. Zalot, 26, of Helen Road, Terryville, was arrested Jan. 29 on charges of use of vehicle without permission, sixth-degree larceny and three counts of violation of probation. He was released after posting bonds totaling $20,000 with a court date of April 29.

Johnson Van Ruperti, 26, of Staffordshire Commons, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 29 on charges of third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on March 29.

Joshua G. Menard, 40, of Nicholas Road, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 31 on charges of violation of protective order and use of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of March 8.

Erik M. Wolf, 37, of Buttonwood Circle, Wallingford, was arrested Jan. 31 on charges of third-degree assault – victim elderly or other and disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear in court on April 1.
