Wallingford Resident Earns NE-10 All-Conference Honors

Three Southern Connecticut State University softball players received year-end honors from the Northeast-10 Conference.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Wallingford’s Morgan Tuscano, a sophomore on the Southern Connecticut State University softball team, was named to the Northeast-10 Conference’s All-Rookie team, officials announced Wednesday.

Teammates Jacqueline Dumont, a junior, and Jessica Perucki, a sophomore, also earned year-end honors from the NE-10.

Dumont, a catcher, earned First Team All-Conference honors after a career year and became the 13th player in program history to earn First Team honors and the first since Alexa Bacoulis in 2019. Dumont led the Owls in seven major categories: batting average (.374), slugging percentage (.626), hits (34), RBIs (25), doubles (11), home runs (4) and total bases (57). Dumont finished the year second in the conference in RBI and doubles, fourth in hits and tied for fifth in home runs.
