Fundraiser Benefitting Waterford Grad Tyler Burdick Taking Place in May
Lance Corporal Burdick was deployed to Iraq with the U.S. Marines. The fundraiser will go toward a care package for him and fellow Marines.
On Saturday, May 28, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Waterford Fire Engine Company No. 1 will be hosting a car wash to raise money for a care package that will be sent to Lance Corporal Tyler Burdick and his fellow Marines.
Burdick is a 2013 graduate of Waterford High School and a member of the Waterford Fire Engine Co.1. He is currently deployed to Iraq with the United States Marine Corps supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.
All donations received will go toward purchasing items for the care package and the shipping.
