Waterford Public Library: Library Board To Discuss Children's Internet Protection Act

At the July 13, 2021 Annual Meeting, the Trustees of the Waterford Public Library, Inc. will be discussing the possible implementation of the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) filtering on all of the library's computers and internet connections. This change is being considered to enable the library to receive discounted internet access rates and federal grant funds for technology that are only available to libraries that are CIPA compliant.
