Groton Animal Foundation to Host Cause For Paws' Annual Beer and Wine Tasting

The Groton Animal Foundation will host its ninth annual Cause for Paws beer and wine tasting to benefit the animals at the Groton Animal Control facility, 4-8pm, Saturday, Sept. 19 at Shennecossett Yacht Club, ​​​1000 Shennecossett Road.

Make merry and support our animal friends in need at this ​Beer & Wine Tasting by Silva’s Package Store and Wine Cellar of Waterford. Also featuring music, hors d’oeuvres, and basket & gift raffles.

Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Purchase advance tickets on the Groton Animal Foundation website or visit Pet Supplies Plus, 646 Long Hill Road, Groton.

The Groton Animal Foundation Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization which raises funds to subsidize the general needs of the Town of Groton Animal Control Facility and the medical needs of its residing animals. In addition, the Groton Animal Foundation advocates for the animals by educating the public and funding ancillary programs. GAF has established an emergency medical fund to provide additional care (beyond that which is provided by the Town) to the animals residing in the animal control facility thereby making them more adoptable.
