Niantic River Bridge Closed Due To Car Crash
A car wreck with injuries has shut down Route 156 at the Niantic River Bridge Monday afternoon.
WATERFORD, CT — Route 156 at the Niantic River bridge has been shut down for a motor vehicle accident with injuries, according to a Facebook post from Waterford police. Anyone driving through the area should expect delays due to detours.
The wreck happened at 3:25 p.m. on the Waterford side of the bridge, according to a Facebook post from East Lyme police. No word yet on when the crash is expected to be cleared.
