Stolen Truck Crashes Into Waterford Home

WATERFORD, CT — A stolen truck ran into a tree and a home on Oswegatchie Road in Waterford late Wednesday, according to FOX 61. The truck was stolen out of Putnam a day earlier.

Jonathan Wilson, 43, of Rhode Island was driving the truck and fled following the crash, FOX 61 reported. Police caught Wilson a short while later in some woods nearby.

Oswegatchie Road between Riverside Drive and East Drive was closed due to the accident.

There were no injuries but water from a hydrant damaged in the crash was flowing into the home, Waterford police wrote in a Facebook post.
