Suspect Idenitified In Waterford Drone Theft
Police have identified a suspect and secured an arrest warrant for a man accused of stealing a drone from a Best Buy last weekend.
WATERFORD, CT — A suspect has been identified and an arrest is pending in connection with a drone stolen from the Best Buy in Waterford, according to police. Police are investigating the larceny which occurred June 5 at 2:47 p.m.
A man broke into a locked cabinet and took a DJI Mavic 2 Pro Aircraft valued at $1599. He then went to the cashier to attempt to return it but was denied as he did not have a receipt.
He then left the store with the drone and drove away in a small hatchback.
