Three Arrested In Pharmacy Scam: Waterford PD

Three people tried to use a doctor's stolen information to illegally obtain opioid prescriptions, police said.

WATERFORD, CT — Three people were arrested after they tried to obtain an opioid prescription with a doctor's stolen information, according to police.

A local pharmacy called police April 2 to report the scam. Police later stopped a vehicle arrested three people.

Luis Caballero, 21, of Brooklyn, New York, Keon Kerr, 23, of Bridgeport and Kevin Kerr, 23, of Bridgeport were all charged with criminal attempt to illegally obtain drugs, criminal attempt to obtain drugs by fraud and criminal attempt to commit identity theft.
