Victim In Fatal Waterford Crash Identified
A pedestrian killed in a Monday wreck has been identified as a Chester man.

WATERFORD, CT — The victim in a fatal Waterford crash has been identified by police. Joshua Molyneux, 21, of Chester, was struck and died in the Monday wreck.
Emergency services received a call at 8:57 a.m. reporting a car vs. pedestrian accident on Niantic River Road. Emergency services personnel including the Waterford Fire Department, Waterford Ambulance Service, Lawrence and Memorial Paramedics, and the Waterford Police Department responded to the scene.
Molyneux was critically injured and died after being transported to the hospital. The driver was identified as 80-year-old Robert DeSanto of Waterford.

The victim was a landscaper who was working in or near the side of the road, according to FOX 61.
The crash is being investigated by the Waterford Police Accident Investigation Team with assistance from members of the East Lyme Police Accident Investigation Team.
