Waterford Beach Park Open for 2016 Season
The Waterford Beach Park concerts begin on June 15. Recreation and Parks remind visitors to be careful with belongings.
Waterford Recreation & Parks staff shared its summer concert schedule and posted a reminder to visitors. They said they were sad to report that someone had items taken from their blanket at Waterford Beach Park over Memorial Day weekend. They wrote via Facebook:
As a reminder do not bring anything of value to the beach. There was a case this past weekend where someones pocketbook and cell phone were taken right off of their blanket. Just a reminder to leave it home or locked out of sight somewhere else. Sad to see this started our beach season.
Lifeguards will be present beginning June 18.
Summer 2016 Concerts at Waterford Beach Park
All will be at 6 p.m., with the exception of the Community Band. No pets or alcoholic beverages are allowed. The concerts are free.
- June 15: Waterford Community Band - 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- June 22: Village Jammers - Americana Musi
- June 29: Dick Campo Band (9 piece)-Swing, Jazz, Latin & Dixie
- July 6: Azela Drive - R&B
- July 13: Fusion - Rock and Soul
- July 20: Southern Voice - Country Rock
- July 27: Malaena - Rock
- August 3: No Shame - old Time Rock
- August 10: Eight to the Bar - Swing
- August 17: Soul Sound Review - Motown
- August 24: River gods - Bluegrass Mellow
- August 31: Pirates for Peace - Old Time Rock
The beach is located at 305 Great Neck Rd. in Waterford.
