Waterford Police Search For Thief Who Deposited Check In NJ

WATERFORD, CT — Police are searching for a suspect who is accused of stealing a Quaker Hill resident's check and depositing it in a New Jersey bank.

Police posted the following on Facebook:

"Ok Waterford.......let’s see how far our post can reach. This one has connections to New Jersey!

"We are looking to identify this suspect who fraudulently deposited a Quaker Hill resident’s check at a TD Bank ATM in Paterson, New Jersey.

"However, the check was stolen out of the blue mailbox at the Quaker Hill Post Office.
