Waterford Police Warn of FBI Lawsuit Scam
A caller claimed to be from the FBI and said they were going to sue the elderly person they called.
The Waterford Police Department has received information regarding a phone scam. The number is 740-275-2786.
"The caller claimed to be from the FBI and they were going to sue the elderly person they called," police said. "Obviously the FBI is not going to sue anyone, these calls are clearly a scam. If you know of elderly persons that do not have Facebook, please let them know."
