Waterford School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Waterford is August 30. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Waterford Public School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/22 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/22: Early Dismissal
• 12/25 - 1/1: No School (Winter Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Winter Recess)
• 1/15: No School (Dr. Martin Luther King Day)
• 1/17 - 1/22: Grades 9-12 Early Dismissal (Midterm Exams)

February

• 2/19 - 2/20: No School (President’s Day Recess)

March

• 3/8: Early Dismissal (P/T Conferences)
• 3/9: No School for Students (PD)
• 3/30: No School (Good Friday)

April

• 4/16 - 4/20: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/6 - 6/11: Grades 9-12 Early Dismissal (Final Exams)
• 6/11: Early Dismissal
• 6/12: Last Day of School, Early Dismissal
