ID Of Victim Killed In West Haven Fire Released: UPDATE
A fire at an apartment building was reported on Saturday night.

WEST HAVEN, CT — Rosalie Bishop, 79, of West Haven, was killed in a 2-alarm fire at an apartment building on Savin Avenue Saturday evening, according to Hearst Connecticut.
Police have concluded that the fire was accidental in nature. Two people suffered serious injuries in the blaze which began at 5 p.m., WFSB 3 TV reported. The cause of the fire has not yet been released.

The fire shut down roads near the scene Saturday evening. The fire department on social media said members of the Center and West Shore Districts responded to a 2-alarm fire on Savin Avenue between Main and Center streets.
