KeyBank Closing Location In West Haven
KeyBank notified customers this week that a branch will be closing in West Haven.

WEST HAVEN, CT — KeyBank will be closing a location in West Haven in March, according to officials.
KeyBank notified customers this week that the Baybrook branch at 20 Ocean Ave. in West Haven will be consolidated into the West Haven branch at 322 Main St. The Baybrook branch will close on March 19.
“As any business does, Key continually reviews the structure of our organization to maintain a strong position in the marketplace, to meet the specific needs of our clients, and to meet business needs,” KeyBank spokesperson Karen Crane told Patch. “Over the past few years, we have seen a steady increase in customer preference for online, digital and mobile banking. In response, we are making greater investments in technology to enhance these services; at the same time, we are optimizing our branch network when it makes economic sense.”

Crane said KeyBank is “committed to making this a smooth transition for our clients.”
Accounts at the Baybrook branch will be automatically transferred to the West Haven branch, which is about 4 miles away at 322 Main St.

“While their branch location will change, they can expect the same high level of service they have always received from KeyBank – at our branches, through our network of ATMs, via telephone at 1-800-KEY2YOU, online at key.com or through mobile banking,” Crane said.
