We'll give you the latest details on when we may see snow and new information has emerged regarding a potential weekend snowstorm.

If you have weekend plans there is some good news for you. A forecasted snowstorm for this weekend appears, as of right now, to be a miss for Connecticut, but snow now appears a real possibility for both Friday and next Tuesday.
Currently the snow, if it were to occur, would begin close to midnight Thursday and continue into Friday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. No accumulation estimates have been made as of yet. The Sunday snow is likely to fizzle out because the storm won’t make it to Connecticut and we could end up with just some flurries.

NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan wrote, “We still have a few chances for snow over the next 10 days. The Sunday event - pictured here with probability of over 1" of snow less than 10% - appears unlikely as it gets shunted to the south by an impressive surge of cold air. We still think there's a better chance for snow both Friday and Tuesday.”
WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons wrote, “Periods of rain and dreary for the day today with high temperatures in the 40s. Clearing tomorrow 50s to near 60°. It does get colder for the end of the week and we are watching two storms that will come close Friday and Sunday.
