Man Sold Cocaine, Heroin In West Haven: Police

The man is accused of distributing crack cocaine and heroin throughout West Haven and the greater New Haven area, according to police.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A New Haven man was recently arrested on drug and gun charges following a lengthy investigation, according to police.

West Haven police launched an investigation several months ago into illegal drug sales being conducted by Trea Fraser, 26, of Terrace Street, according to officials.

Police found that Fraser was distributing crack cocaine and heroin throughout West Haven and the greater New Haven area, officials said.

Authorities obtained three arrest warrants for Fraser and executed a search warrant at his home and vehicle on Feb. 9.

Police seized 102 grams of powder cocaine, 13.7 grams of crack cocaine, 3.5 grams of a heroin/fentanyl mixture, 12 glassine bags of a heroin/fentanyl mixture, 33 rounds of ammunition, a fully loaded Glock pistol reported stolen from Alabama in November of 2020, and $3,909 in cash, according to officials.

Police said a young child was also found to be living in Fraser’s apartment.

Fraser was charged by West Haven police with three counts of sale of narcotics and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Fraser was charged by New Haven police with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of narcotics with the intent to sell and one count each of possession of more than ½ ounce of cocaine with intent to sell, operating a drug factory, criminal possession of a pistol, criminal possession of ammunition, possession of a high-capacity magazine and risk of injury to a minor.
