Obituary: Anthony Michael Izzo, 38, Of West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — (From West Haven Funeral Home): Anthony Michael Izzo, 38, of West Haven, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 5, 2021. Anthony was born on September 9, 1982, in Milford, Connecticut, the son of the late Louis Izzo and his loving mother, Jeannie Boothroyd Izzo. He graduated from West Haven High School in 2001 and worked at Mackenzie Restoration for many years.

In addition to his loving mother, Jeannie Izzo, Anthony is survived by his sister, Gina Izzo and brother in-law Carlos Martinez, his loving nephew, Steven Izzo, his two stepbrothers, Louis and Jamie Izzo, his maternal grandmother, Margaret Boothroyd, as well as many loving cousins, aunts, uncles and his girlfriend Michelle Lyn Nocereto and Leo.

Anthony had many loving friends and will be fondly remembered for his love of fishing, cheering on the Yankees and spending time with his nephew and family. Anthony will most lovingly be remembered for his kindness and love for his family and friends. He was loved by those who knew him and will be dearly missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, July 13, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. A prayer service will begin at 7 o’clock.
