Obituary: Dawn Marie Childs, 52, of West Haven
Dawn, a devoted mother and grandmother, loved and adored her family unconditionally.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From Pistey Funeral Home) Dawn Marie Childs, age 52 of West Haven and previously of Stratford, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in her home.
Dawn was born in Bridgeport to the late Leroy Franklin and Mary Louise Jean McPherson Childs.
She worked for Home Depot in Orange.
Dawn is survived by her children, Phillip Delgado, Jr. and Avangeline Marie Delgado; her three grandchildren, Fabian Acevedo, Jr., Julian Acevedo, and Ramoye Beecher, Jr.; her siblings, Leroy, Michael, and Elsa Childs and Laurie Gonzalez; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. James RC Church, 2110 Main Street, Stratford.
Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford.
