Obituary: Maurice F. Muir, 83, of West Haven
Maurice, an active member of the New Life Church in West Haven, was a master craftsman and a devoted family man.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Maurice F. Muir, age 83, of West Haven passed away peacefully on June 19, 2021.
For 64 years, he was the loving husband of Rose Hoyt Muir.
Maurice was born in Collina, New Brunswick, Canada, son of the late Herbert and Evelyn Keirstead Muir.
He is also survived by his sons Randy (Debbie) Muir of SC and Jeff (Bonnie) Muir of Orange, his grandchildren Mitchel and Rebecca Muir.
Maurice was a master craftsman, building and renovating custom homes, prior to his retirement. He also was an active member of New Life Church, West Haven.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date. West Haven Funeral Home in care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Maurice’s name.
