Obituary: Phyllis J. Gooley, 105, of West Haven
Phyllis, always loving and devoted to her family, co-owned and operated Gooley's Restaurant in New Haven for many years.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Phyllis J. Gooley, age 105, of West Haven passed away peacefully at home on June 23, 2021.
For 67 years, she was the loving wife of the late Daniel Gooley.
Phyllis was born in New Haven, daughter of the late Robert and Jessie Bruce. She is survived by her daughters Kathleen G. (the late James) Colwell and Mary Diane (Joseph) Liberti all of West Haven, her grandchildren Joseph (Jean) Liberti of East Hartford and Robert Liberti of West Haven, her great grandson Max Liberti and her sister Barbara (the late Dick) Jerome of MA.
She was predeceased by her brothers Wallace and Alec Bruce and her son-in-law James Colwell. For many years Phyllis and Dan were the owners and operators of Gooley’s Restaurant in New Haven.
All Funeral Services will be private in care of West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
