Obituary: William "Bill Pags” Paul Pagliaro, 69, of West Haven
William, an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, worked as a welder before becoming a salesman for Unicore, ABCO and Air Gas.

WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) William "Bill Pags” Paul Pagliaro, 69, of Clinton, died on May 3, 2021. William was born in New Haven on June 2, 1951, son of the late Peter C. and Ameila (Guida) Pagliaro.
He attended the St. Lawrence School and graduated from West Haven High School and the Connecticut Welding Institute. In 1979 he relocated with his family to Illinois, living in Naperville and McHenry.
In 1984 he relocated back to Connecticut, and settled in Clinton. He started his career as a welder, later becoming a salesman for Unicore, ABCO and Air Gas, for which he retired in 2019.
William enjoyed fishing and cheering for both the Yankees and UCONN basketball.
An avid cook, he took great pride in preparing family recipes taught to him by his father.
He loved his Harley motorcycle and enjoyed trips to Daytona as well as Laconia, NH for bike week.
In recent years, he especially looked forward to his annual rides to Florida or the Smoky Mountains with childhood friends from West Haven.
He was passionate about mycology and was a proud member of the Connecticut Valley Mycological Society.
William is survived by his daughters, Kristen P. Eckmayer (Couirey) of Somerville, MA; Jessica P. Lichack (Paul) and Jill P. Panaroni (Michael), both of Clinton; his brother Peter Pagliaro of Milford; nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and his many friends.
Beloved “Pop Pop” to Benjamin, Timothy and Jacob Lichack; Amelia and Elliana Panaroni and Lucien and Miriam Anne Eckmayer.
He is predeceased by his sisters Anne Healey and Nancy Dresel.
The hours of visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4 – 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday morning at 11 o’clock in St. Lawrence Church, West Haven.
Interment will be private.
