Painter Park Day Camp Celebrates ‘Campers of the Session’
The program is held at the end of the two-week session for ages 6-12.
From West Haven Parks & Recreation: The Department of Parks and Recreation’s Painter Park Day Camp celebrates its “Campers of the Session,” led by camp director Chuck Asarisi, back, at the end of the two-week session for ages 6-12 recently. Asarisi has been a seasonal employee of the department’s day camp program since 1987, when he was 15. Park-Rec offered four two-week sessions this year — one more than normal — because of school dismissing earlier.
