Road Closures Announced In West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven police are advising motorists of several road closures and detours that will be in effect beginning next week.

Beginning at 8 a.m. on April 27 the following road closures/detours will be in effect:

• Water Street from Elm to Main; CLOSED to all traffic
• Main Street at First Avenue; CLOSED to EASTBOUND traffic (Prospect Place & Bayview Place to exit westbound only onto Main Street)
• Center Street (eastbound) at First Avenue; CLOSED
• Richards Place (eastbound) at First Avenue; CLOSED

First Avenue will stay open to all traffic, according to police.
