Officials announced students will have a traditional snow day without any distance learning on Friday, but there is one catch...
WEST HAVEN, CT — Students in West Haven Public Schools will be getting a break from distance learning with a traditional “snow day” on Friday, according to officials.
Traditional snow days have virtually disappeared during the coronavirus pandemic as most school districts have shifted to operating remotely on inclement weather days.
However, school officials announced Thursday that students will get an “old-fashioned snow day.”
