West Haven residents who are graduating from eighth grade or currently attend high school and want to join the West Haven High School Dance Team can learn more about the program and upcoming tryouts by contacting Head Coach Lizz Petrakis at WHHSDanceTeam@gmail.com. The team is not limited to students who attend West Haven schools, as long as they are residents and meet certain criteria.

There are optional clinics May 13 and May 15 in the WHHS gym from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and mandatory tryouts May 21 and 22 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with call backs on May 24 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p m. also in the WHHS gym.

All students wishing to attend clinics or try outs must have had a sports physical brought to the school nurse to be put on the approved list. There is also a try out packet to be filled out and returned.
