West Haven Basketball Courts Temporarily Closed For Repairs
The work is expected to be completed in two weeks.

WEST HAVEN, CT — Three basketball courts have been temporarily closed for renovations as part of Mayor Nancy R. Rossi’s citywide parks improvement program.
The basketball courts — Painter Park, Brennan Field and Glade Street — were closed on Monday, April 5, for cleaning, crack repair and resurfacing, said Ernie Chiarelli, the project coordinator and sidewalk inspector for the Department of Public Works.

Chiarelli said the West Haven contractor, Hinding Tennis Courts of Spring Street, is expected to complete the work in two weeks.
The city will notify the public when the courts reopen.
