West Haven Man Assaults 2 People, Held On $50K Bond: Milford PD
The accused was apprehended after a foot pursuit with police, police said.
MILFORD, CT — A West Haven man is accused of assaulting two people during a domestic violence incident in Milford, police said.
On April 10, Milford police responded to a Harrison Avenue address on the report of a possible domestic violence incident, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Anthony Sliney, 32, of Knox Street, who is accused of strangling and assaulting a female victim, biting her, after a verbal argument, police said.
Sliney is also accused of kicking down a door at the residence and assaulting another family member, police said. Sliney was apprehended after a foot pursuit with police, police said.

Sliney is charged with disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal mischief, two counts of third-degree assault, strangulation, interfering with 911 call, and interfering with an officer. He was held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
