West Haven Man Shot In Shoulder, Face: New Haven Police
The man was hospitalized after a drive-by shooting Thursday night in New Haven, according to police.
WEST HAVEN, CT — A West Haven man was hospitalized after being shot in the shoulder and face in a drive-by shooting Thursday night in New Haven, according to police.
At about 10:20 p.m., emergency crews responded to a ShotSpotter alert and 911 calls of a person shot in the area of Goffe Street and Orchard Street. A 20-year-old West Haven resident had been shot in the shoulder and face, according to police.
Police said the victim was taken to an area hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

The victim was believed to be sitting in a parked car before the shooting, police said.
“A gunman in a passing vehicle fired multiple gunshots at the victim,” police wrote in a news release. “The gunman’s vehicle was last seen traveling north on Orchard Street toward Henry Street.”
