West Haven Man Stole From Lowe's 23 Times: Milford Police
The accused is charged with 23 counts of larceny from the business.
MILFORD, CT — A West Haven man is accused of committing larceny from Lowe's, 311 Old Gate Lane, on 23 occasions, Milford Police say. Orlando Berrios, 54, of Washington Avenue in West Haven was charged on a warrant for making fraudulent purchases at Lowe's between September 16, 2018 through November 4, 2018 totaling 23 occasions, police said.
The complainant said Berrios would select an item from the store floor and use a pre-printed barcode in the amount of $3.68 to purchase the item of a higher value, totaling approximately $3,400 over the time frame, police said.
He is charged with 23 counts of sixth-degree larceny and one count of risk of injury. He was given a $7,500 bond.
