West Haven National Guard Soldier Receives New Rank
The promotion, which includes a new rank and new responsibilities, was announced this week.
WEST HAVEN, CT — (Contributed): Major General Ray Shields, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the recent promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.
Orlando Rowe from West Haven and assigned to the 145th Maintenance Company received a promotion to the rank of staff sergeant on Jan. 13.
Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential.
