West Haven Opens Cooling Centers

From The City of West Haven:West Haven’s cooling center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 20 and Friday, July 21, in the lower level of City Hall, 355 Main St., Mayor Edward M. O’Brien announced.

The cooling center is for anyone who needs respite from the heat, O’Brien said.

No food or beverages are served.

Also, the West Haven/Allingtown Senior Center’s cooling center is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 20 and Friday, July 21 at the Johnson Community Center, 201 Noble Street.
