West Haven Woman, Toddler Killed In Triple-Fatal Crash In Seymour
Police have identified the victims of a triple-fatal crash on Route 34 in Seymour.

SEYMOUR, CT — A West Haven woman and her 4-year-old daughter were killed in a triple-fatal crash on Route 34 in Seymour on Wednesday night, according to multiple reports including NBC Connecticut.
NBC Connecticut reports police have identified the victims as Shanea Leary, 28, of West Haven, and Nicole Gibson, 35, of Ansonia, and Leary’s 4-year-old daughter.
Leary was the driver of a vehicle that failed to take a curve and crashed head-on with another car that was heading in the opposite direction on Route 34, according to NBC Connecticut.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. on Route 34 near Argonne Terrace and the Derby city line.
The three victims were in the same vehicle and Leary’s daughter was in the backseat at the time of the crash.

The driver of the other vehicle was hospitalized with injuries that weren’t life-threatening, according to police.
