West Haven's Rainy Work Week Weather Forecast

It's not shaping up to be the best week of spring weather as we'll see several rain chances. Here are the latest forecast details.

By Brian McCready

The good news with all of the recent, and now predicted, rain is drought conditions are beginning to ease up in Connecticut. And we’ll be adding more rain this week, especially during the work week, but the weekend looks almost perfect with plenty of sunshine and temps into the 70s.

Temps will also moderate heading into the weekend with the whole state seeing 70s degrees by Friday.

WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons wrote, “Sunshine will give away the clouds today with highs in the 60s and low 70s. It will be colder near Long Island Sound. Dry weather all day long followed by some rain tonight. Plan on a rainy Tuesday and Wednesday!”

The National Weather Service has already issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Hartford and Tolland counties saying “moderate to heavy rain is forecast” and possibly locally dense fog on Tuesday and Wednesday.
